CFA Level 2 Eligibility Criteria

In addition to having passed the CFA Level 1 exam, candidates for CFA Level 2 should have been at least in the fourth year of their graduation to sit for the exam or have earned a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or its equivalent.


Candidates must have at least four years of professional experience in the same field in addition to their academic qualifications.

A valid passport is a must.

Furthermore, candidates should know English well because the CFA course Level 2 study materials and exams will only be available in that language.

To appear in the CFA Level 2 exam, candidates need to have completed at least four thousand hours of work experience in addition to higher education. The dates of professional employment experience and schooling shouldn’t coincide.
