Yes. Mirchawala’s runs live online ACCA classes you can join from Malé or any island, with recordings, mock exams and tutor support on the MHA learning portal. You sit the exams yourself, at an ACCA exam centre or, for papers ACCA allows, as a remote exam. Check ACCA’s exam centre list for current options in the Maldives.
Yes. CA Maldives, the country’s chartered accountants body, signed a memorandum of understanding with ACCA in 2022 covering training, education and exams, and Maldivian employers such as the Maldives Pension Administration Office are ACCA Approved Employers (certified September 2024).
Most students start at Applied Knowledge after A levels or an equivalent Grade 12 certificate, with passes in English and Maths. If you only have O levels or Grade 10, you start with ACCA’s Foundation route first. Graduates in accounting or business may get exemptions from some papers.
ACCA charges a one-time registration fee (£89), an annual student subscription (£140 for 2026) and a fee for each exam (for December 2026, £160 per Applied Skills paper at standard entry), all paid in GBP. Mirchawala’s tuition is charged separately, per paper or as a bundle.
