  • Can I take the ACCA Qualification Exams in any order? 

You can attempt the papers within each module in any sequence, but you must take your ACCA Qualification exams in a modular order. You must also have finished all unfinished exams in your current module to be qualified to take exams in the subsequent module.

  • When can the Ethics and Professional Skills module be taken?

You can only take the ethics module after passing the applied knowledge exam. Before taking a strategic professional exam, it is recommended that students complete the Ethics and Professional Skills program. This is because the behaviors covered in this module will help students pass these tests more easily.

  • During each exam session, how many ACCA exams can I take?

Eight examinations in a calendar year and four exams in a single exam session are the maximums that can be taken.

  • Can I change or cancel my ACCA exam entry?

You can change or withdraw your exam entry up until the standard deadline. 

You need to go into your MyACCA account, select Exam Entry, and then modify or cancel your ACCA exam booking. You can use the exam fees you paid for your next ACCA booking, which are kept in your ACCA wallet.

  • How much time do I have to complete the ACCA exams?

 Any strategic professional certification obtained after passing all exams and becoming an affiliate will expire after seven years. You will have to retake them all. 
The Oxford Brookes BSc in Applied AccountingYou will lose eligibility if you don’t finish this within 10 years of getting your first positive ACCA result.
Diploma in IFRYou get a time limit of ten years from the date of the first registration.
  • Can I still take my examinations even if I miss the deadline for regular exam entry?

You can still use the late entry service through myACCA if you are a currently enrolled student and missed the regular exam entry deadline. Exam late fees are approximately two to three times higher than regular exam fees.

Exam entries cannot be changed during the late exam entry phase, regardless of when they were made.

  • Will my examinations be held at the location I requested?

You will be asked to select your chosen exam center when registering for your examinations. You can often take exams at this location. In rare cases, though, you can be assigned to the closest substitute center if demand for a specific center exceeds its capacity. This will be noted on your exam attendance docket, for your information.

  • What will happen if I arrive at my exam late?

You will be allowed to enter the exam hall even if you arrive an hour late. If you are over an hour late, though, the supervisor won’t let you access the hallway.

  • If I finish early, is it possible for me to exit the exam center early?

To maintain the integrity of the exam, every student must stay at the exam center on the whole time.
