Certified internal auditor eligibilities requirements
- Candidates in the CIA program agree to accept the conditions of the program, including fulfilling requirements, maintaining exam confidentiality, abiding by the IIA’s code of ethics and earning and reporting Continuing Professional Education (CPE), along with other conditions enacted by the IIA’s Professional Certification Board (PCB)
- CIA candidates must meet the following entry and exit program requirement to obtain the CIA designation (The required experience is based on the candidate’s education level as indicated in the following program requirements table
